The Salty Sailor Apothecary is a Carolina’s Coast-based hair, skin, bath & body product brand that focuses on clean and safe ingredients. Owner and founder Sara Culpepper began the Salty Sailor as a way to express her creativity and share her warm, positive spirit with others. After realizing that there were a lot of unnecessary and synthetic ingredients and dyes in some bath bombs she purchased (that stained her bathtub!) she set out to formulate her own products.

The Salty Sailor Apothecary is a science-backed, artisan brand that produces hand-painted products in small batches, which allows Sara to not only customize her products, but create them with the utmost care and attention to detail. She has a complete understanding and control of what ingredients go into her products (all clean and cruelty-free of course - never any of the bad stuff!) and has big dreams for opening up a warehouse and brick-and-mortar one day.

From purchase, to unboxing, to first use, to the last drop in the bottom of the bottle, The Salty Sailor Apothecary provides a high-quality, deliciously scented, and safe experience for each customer. Plus, our products are cheeky, funny, and just plain joyful!
